Donkey Bop Takes On Nurburgring-Combined
On September 6th, 2017 the Donkey Bop Racing team sent six drivers and three Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars to Nurburgring for the 4 hour iRacing VLN Endurance Series Event. Individual drivers and multi-driver teams were eligible. Donkey Bop entered two drivers in each car and and all three managed to finish in the top eight in class. The #002 Donkey Bop West Porsche of JF Godin and Jim Ray finished 4th in class (and 10th overall) in a tough split with lots of experienced drivers at this event. The #006 Donkey Bop Pick Six Porsche of Ken Soszka and Jerry Foehrkolb finished none other than P6. In 8th we had Larry Krupp and Jason Glaze in the #001 Donkey Bop East Porsche. It was a very demanding race with many classes running at varied speeds throughout the race.
